With a larger grille and updated bumper, the refreshed 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is looking a little bit meaner than its predecessor.
The SUV, introduced in a private event held in Japan, has a few new exterior updates including new door handles, additional alloy wheel designs and two new paint colours called Copper Brown and Onyx Blue. Not unlike other 2016 vehicles, the Land Cruiser also has more chrome – in this case, it is featured on the grille and front bumper.
Inside, the seven-seater features a refreshed instrument cluster and a 4.2-inch LCD screen equipped with Toyota’s latest touch-screen infotainment system.
The 2016 Land Cruiser is scheduled to hit Japanese sales floor by the end of this year and is available with a plethora of electronic driving aids such as adaptive cruise control, automatic high beans, lane departure warning system as well as pre-collision warning system. The Land Cruiser isn’t sold in Canada, but whether or not U.S.-spec vehicles will have similar add-ons is still unknown.
